It would assist us greatly if you could arrive within these hours for checking in and so arrangements for work can be finalised.
We have Eftpos/Internet/Fax and printing facilities available. Safes are available in reception for the secure storage of your valuables free of charge.
Banana Barracks backpacker hostel has coin operated washing machines and dryers and our kitchens are equipped with microwaves, kettles, toasters, gas burners, fridges and cooking gear. Drink & vending machines are also placed in the hostel for your use.
In the TV area we have a TV, DVD player and Austar. If you don't want to watch TV then you can rent games from the office, play beach volleyball, jump in the pool for a nice refreshing swim or if you have lots of energy you can climb Mt Tyson. The Mt Tyson trail takes you into the rainforest and once you have reached the top you can get a panoramic view of Tully, the islands and almost the whole shire with its patchwork of cane fields and banana plantations. You can also jump out of a plane over the Great Barrier Reef and Dunk Island or go white water rafting on the famous Tully River, which is renowned for its great rapids.
When you have paid for two weeks accommodation then you will be entitled to the Workers Deal.
